Tengger tribe who lived in the area Bromo-Semeru, East Java, according to legend was the incarnation of the Majapahit kingdom. Tengger name itself is a fragment of the two central figures a local legend that, Rara anteng and Jaka Seger. It was said long ago in the kingdom of Majapahit great hit by riots that resulted in anteng Rara, the daughter of the king, an exodus to the area around Bromo. In the refugee camps that meet anteng Rara Jaka Seger, a son of the kingdom of Kediri Brahmin who also happens chaos. According to the Swiss legend, in the era of the middle of nowhere, stay collection of the demons in the Alps. It is said that these demons love playing skittle (bowling embryo). With a fierce, large stone thrown into one of the towering mountain peaks sharpened. These peaks and broken boulders rolled down the scattered, devastated the surrounding area, until finally forming a valley. The valley is now a ghetto area known as Les Diablerets. Although legend has it that this place is a favorite place of demons to play skittle, but the village of Les Diablerets is located at an altitude of 1155 m, since 1277 until now, known as a favorite place for skiing sports.
