COPENHAGEN-EDIT-1How much fun running through the city of Copenhagen  the capital of Denmark. This city is rich in beautiful churches and ancient buildings. You can also see the beauty of the city’s canals or roads in the area of red light. Copenhagen became the capital of Denmark in the early 15th century, is an important city in the area after the Scandinavian King Christian IV in the 17th century. Last year, the metropolitan city full of ancient buildings of the city is selected as the fourth of 50 large cities of the future Europe after London, Paris, and Berlin. The city and are considered to be comfortable with the environment. Water in the port city of canals clean, so that the routine use race as a place to pool in the summer.

Heaven for pedestrian

To come to Copenhagen in the winter that does not reduce the beauty of this old city. When the air temperature is about 0 to 4 degrees Celsius.  As with other large cities in the world, is rather difficult to find a car parking place in Copenhagen. This city is very pleasant to walk. If you are including regular walking, about 8 km per day, this city is best to enjoy while walking. Walk through the Ny Havn in English or New Harbor is really fun. There is a canal dug around 300 years ago in this region, so that ships could move up further to the city. One of the buildings in this area is a favorite residence of famous children’s story writers, Hans Christian Andersen.

Through Ny Havn, we can walk up to the theater and the new Copenhagen is located in the waterfront. Unlike the old theater, architecture this building looks modern design with a full glass. This building was completed in 2008. Travel forwarded to the kingdom’s palace Amalienborg, the official residence of Queen Margaret II. The situation looks quiet, only a few people’s palace guards in traditional clothes, such as the British queen’s palace guards.
Forward on foot, we get to the statue of Lille Havfrue den or better known as the Little Mermaid that are reflective in the sea. Sculptures with size as human icons of the city is Copenhagen. Sculptures contributed by Carl  Jacobsen year 1909, the son of the founder of Carlsberg, the beer of Denmark. The carver is Edward Eriksen, who use the wife, Eline Eriksen, as a model.
